REVIEW: Damian Wasse - City Lights EP out on Lange recordings

This next release on Lange see's Russian producer Damian Wasse step up to deliver this massive release consisting of City Lights & Night Of Love.

This double EP is club focussed and grounded by monster bass riffs that drive these tracks into stomping dance floor episodes. The lead track of the release, 'City Lights', conjures up a steady progression from the breakdown, showcasing subtle trance chords that hit all the right notes. 'Night of Love' includes a gentle piano top line and goes on to unleash an epic lead synth, creating a hands-in-the-air moment.

A brilliant EP and debut release for Damian Wasse on Lange Recordings!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Damian Wasse is one of those names that are destined to become very big in the near future as his talent is outstanding and his productions so far are high quality and stand out from the rest. Lange recordings presents two great tracks on his City Lights Ep. First of all is City Lights that will impress you for sure. He builds a very energetic and pumping proglifting trancer that starts quite rough and playful and then moves to a more driving sequence with distorted basslines and unforgettable melodies that come in full shape and size in the superb breakdown that the melodies are unleashed and will be pretty hard not to touch you deeply and get you on a more emotional state of mind. When the beat strikes back the final part is in full effect for the big room rocking and banging climax. If you want a straight forward melodic progressive trancer you should choose  Night of Love. Its characterised from its ethereal atmosphere, floating beats, energetic basslines that keep you constantly dancing, the warm and really gentle strings and the brilliant piano melody that will crawl under your skin and make you feel the passion and love for quality music. Two must play productions that keep the good name of trance. Love iT!
