Andain present a fresh remix package of their new single "What It's Like" on the Black Hole imprint.

Josh Gabriel and Mavie Marcos are, as well all know, the driving forces behind the Andain alias. With a career that started in early 2000, it was their first single “Summer Calling” and the follow-up “Beautiful Things” that launched their name into instant celebrity. The famous Gabriel & Dresden Remix of "Beautiful Things" became a classic and nowadays boasts over 20 million views on Youtube.

Andain recently released artist album entitled "You Once Told Me" harvested the successful single "Promises" which appeared on many compilations, and reached #13 in SiriusXM’s BPM Top 51 of 2011. To support the album, the single "Much Too Much" was released, accompanied by a beautiful video directed by Jamie Redford. The follow up was “Turn Up The Sound”, which appeared in a filled to the rim remix package. "What It's Like", the brand new Andain single featured here today, now appears in two excellent remixes by John Dahlback and Loverush UK.

The version of "What It's Like" as we all know it from the album, is a superb, slow vocal pop song. The previous single release already featured the massive overhauls from John Dahlback and Loverush UK; this new package adds four new top of the line remixes by Daniel Wanrooy & Mark Green, Sneijder, Faustix & ImanoS and David Gravell. These new versions will make everyone understand "What It's Like" on the dance floor when the DJ puts this one on!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The brand new track by Andain is called What It's Like and is heavily supported by many big guns in the scene thanks to the 1st package of incredible mixes. Now additional remixes  are available to satisfy even more sections of the international club family. First of all the duo we were expecting with anticipation to return as we know that together they can shine in the studio.  Daniel Wanrooy & Mark Green experiment with different genres and for this remix go all the way BIG Banging Room. Their version has the word peak time written all over it. It's euphoric, very pumping and booming in other words very energetic and clean cut remix that despite the exciting atmosphere remains subtle, melodic, melancholic and really Delicious without  acquiring the heavy distortions and other sound effects that used in the prog house genre. It can cross over to trance and progressive/big room sets really easily/ Sneijder Remix is already included on Armin's ASOT radio show and if you check it out you will understand why. The excellent  producer delivers the banging 138 plus version perfect to drop at the peak of your sets and send your audience for quick visit to planet Mars for a hot party upon the volcano's. The breakdown is emotional and Mavi shines with her performance as she gives so much soul and meaning to each every single word she sings.  Faustix & ImanoS Remix is a stunning hybrid of punchy prog house, electro and heavy dose of dubstep. Its definitely a remix that can work well on nu rave/unconventional  style sets. Last new mix on this package is David Gravell's translation who service the big room, progressive trance version with techy and electro infusions. Rough and slamming distorted basslines combined with big room synthy stabs and techy mechanical beats for the ultimate euphoria on the trancefloor. The breakdown is romantic with piano chords touching your soul but don't be fooled cause its not the usual  love song. David for the climax he unleashes the monsters from inside his bottle of tricks and create multiple colourful explosions and audience shouts on the floor! Absolutely Essential varied remix package  that I heavily support on trance and house shows. Love  IT!
