REVIEW: Chris Cortez - Snitch / 020 out on Fraction records

1-Snitch
2-020

Chris Cortez delivers the goods once more with his latest peak-time double A-sided floor flexer entitled 'Snitch / 020'!

Snitch opens the release superbly with a real white hot workout for the bigger floors featuring throbbing bass work and raw edged synth lines twisting against the heavyweight drum grooves to tremendous effect. Key to the track is the breakdown, with crowd pleasing piano lines and intensity drenched leads ensuring roof raising response every time!

020 continues the extra large vibe superbly with shuddering kick drums and grooving basslines underpinning the big room feel of the glowing lead synths and chunky percussive rhythms perfectly. On the break, the energy is launched in full with rising hook lines and glistening atmospheres providing maximum crowd control for an almighty drop - essential!

Not to be missed!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Fraction records is on fire with great releases that you add instantly in your dj set without too much thought about it. The latest EP by Chris Cortez is first class big room trance with creative approach to what we term as trance at the moment. 020 is a superb hybrid of tech/electro/epic prog house and trance melodies. Energetic pulsating pumping beats and  slamming twisted electro infused basslines and on top hands in the air anthemic feel good trance themes. The climax is absolutely cracking with that really large and tough synthy riff on top will make many jump up and down wild and totally uncontrollable. Snitch moves on the same direction but with a more epic prog house sound to it. Hands in the air anthemic melodic with twisted wobbly chunky beats and packed with nice grooves. If you play epic prog house sounds this will satisfy you in a big extend. Fraction beats at its best. Love IT!
