Craig Meichan smashes his way onto the Fraction roster with his debut production entitled 'Interstellar'!
Floor shaking basslines, hard edged melodics and no-nonsense stab rhythms lead the mix in superb fashion to really set the tone of the release. Upon the breakdown, huge synth atmospheres are guaranteed to lift the biggest floors as the heavyweight lead lines rip through the mix - get ready for this drop!
Hot from hugely successful 'Judder / Heatwave' release last month, and still cruising the charts, Philip Estevez takes to the remix faders and drops another white hot production featuring more gritty basslines, pumping kick drums and crowd pleasing hooks to tremendous effect!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Fraction records is strictly trance releases but with an open mind for wide variety of what someone can label as trance music. The latest release is by Craig Meichan and his title describes well the content that you expect to get in it. Interstellar is a spacey uplifting club trancer with solid rocking beats, techy basslines, and great melodic themes on top. Just imagine yourself being in a spaceship while you travel towards the moon for a party that you were invited and looking around the stars and the planets. The breakdown reveals a very large epic uplifting theme that disappears for a while as we go for a full on mad acid trance style climax but soon the melodic theme is back for the outro of this massive banger. Remix duties by Philip Estevez who transforms the tougher original into a playful big room tech trancer with progressive and electro elements. He applies tribal tech trance beats and rough basslines that lead us on the very large breakdown that the big melodic theme is revealed in its full glory. When the beat kicks back the track continues on the same way of the first part without going overexcited. Darker and moody alternative version to complete the package really nice! Love IT!
