James Dymond is certainly creating waves in the scene, having global support from all the major jocks he returns to Mondo delivering two colossal club smashers. Following up 'System Situation', 'Shallop' back last year on Mondo, he's back with a bang and creating some serious noise with 'Ordinary Heroes EP'.
The title track 'Ordinary Heroes' is a moody, techy number with deep dark stabs, haunting effects, big room antics and a huge carnage creating breakdown. Over on the flip we have 'Arkaden', which continues on that tech note but incorporates a show stopping emotional breakdown, soaring melodies and supremely executed groove fuelled percussion.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the hottest trance producers is of course James Dymond who service the trance mass with a massive EP that will be one of your favorites in the coming months. Mondo records offer us the chance to enjoy two new stunning creations by the mastermind of trance. First is the title track Ordinary Heroes that is peak time trance rocker ready to blow your speakers. With tech and prog trance elements it has the horse power you need to drive your audience into real frenzy. Upon the rough electro trance beats he adds some great chorus like vocals that create instantly a Hollywood blockbuster film atmosphere. The playful and groovy rhythm will lead to his exceptional breakdown. Very large uplifting synths and the heavenly vocal will bring the climax we are waiting for and then when the kick drum will come back the track will get you going right and exact on the way that only James knows how to deliver it. Arkaden is the more melodic side of the two with great piano, violin and strings working together to build an outstanding atmosphere that sounds like coming out from a historic series of BBC. Powerful, emotional and full of musicality is definitely a very unique and quite fresh approach to the beloved trance genre. Highly recommended! Love It!
