Alexander Piven is a young producer from Russia. After a collaboration with Vlad Seven which was released on Redux Recordings, this is his first solo single in form of a 3-track EP on the fresh Condura Recordings label.







Dimitri Kechagias review: The brand new label Condura recordings reaches its 3rd release with Catch the Dream EP by Alexander Piven. This top notch EP includes 3 very beautiful tracks that once you listen to them you will fell in love and you will be very excited when you will drop them in your dj set. Firstly Gitarro is a wonderful driving melodic prog trancer that uses electro and tech influences to create a very danceable club trancer. The breakdown is bag full of surprises with emotional cinematic melodies, huge synthy hook that will cause real damage on the floor and even a lovely guitar riff that surfaces at the top in a magical way to calm things down until the beat is back for the huge playful stop and go electro trance climax. If you like progressive trance with extra energetic beats better get this.  Catch The Dream is the longer of the 3 and it is pure banging uplifting trancer that is fast, furius and absolutely gorgeous. The breakdown is stunning with cinematic atmosphere and excellent sound design. The highlight element is the mysterious little melody that plays on top and you are not sure if it is from violin or guitar maybe and sounds quite distorted but addictive. Lastly Miracula is the tougher of the 3 as it combines uplifting and tech trance element in one package. With sharp beat like knife that sounds techy and metalic but with strong melodic elements is one of those tracks that will uplift any tech trance set particularly because of the epic sounding melody that offers confidence and a sense of being invincible on the dancefloor. A real trancefighter! Dont miss it! Love it!
