Firmly cementing himself as one our most trusted artists, Soundprank aka Colin Fisher returns with three diverse 4/4 gems to kickstart 2012. 

With a bubbling, progressively building groove, "Downshift" slips into a sci-fi influenced breakdown and is full of Colin's renowned sonic complexity.

First of all Downshift is a sound essay in my opinion on how to compose a deep dark with melodic overtones long progressive house anthem without your audience getting bored with it. It is deep melancholic but at the same time keeps your interest by adding and subtracting rich layers of sounds in a very creative and meaningful way. The good news continue on the next track as well that is named This Is A Prank. It is a much more upbeat track than the previous and in way targets both prog house and prog trance sets. Warm and tender with calm power in it lead us on the breakdown that a quite jazzy dark melody is revealed along with a breakbeat style part perfect to trip your mind away with it. It drives the proceedings in a very demanding way until to blow all over the place in an uplifting melodic prog trance part. Last but not least the magic comes to its end with Cosmos. A mysterious surprising and impossible to guess whats coming next track that is pure electronic pleasure. Dark basslines and hypnotic melodies are jamming and interacting to each other in order to build the tension and help you release your pressures on the dancefloor. The breakdown has a jazzy experimental edge like watching the tiniest forms of life  with the help of Soundprank's microscope.
