Until now the names that have been announced signals that this years event for 3 days will include all the djs and artists that are discussed more frequently and they are the absolute favorites for thousands all over the globe. One of them is the most talk about dj Alesso.
Only 20 years old and already huge original productions such as ‘Nillionaire’ "Calling" and "Raise Your Head" under his belt, Sebastian Ingrosso’s protégée started off big in 2011 and sets the bar even higher for 2012! He already scored an Essential New Tune on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio One show with his debut track on Refune Records “Nillionaire” during Miami Music Week 2011. He secured more plays on the world famous influential show with his original productions and his killer remix of Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Save the World’. Alesso already played at some of the world’s biggest dance events last year including Creamfields, Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy and in Pacha Ibiza together with Swedish House Mafia for their famous Masquerade Motel nights. Autumn of 2011 saw Alesso going into US strong, Electric Zoo in NY, Beyond Wonderland in LA, Roseland Ballroom together with Kaskade, Ultra Music Festival Sao Paolo with big acts such as Swedish House Mafia and ending the year with a complete sold out headline show at Pacha NYC.
Since the past 10 months Alesso has exploded onto the scene with his original productions, remixes and shows taking him to every corner of the world. ‘Calling’, collaboration with Sebastian Ingrosso, debuted Pete Tongs’ legendary radio show on Radio 1 and was the anthem of the summer 2011 all over the world and has gained great chart success already and still growing! With ”Raise your head” Alesso is taking over the dancefloors once again by storm with it reaching no 1 on the DMC Buzz chart in its first week and a world exclusive play by Pete Tong. 2011 also saw Alesso entering into no 70 at 2011 years DJMAG top 100 poll at his first year running.
