Global Experience present their brand new single “New Life” on the Black Hole imprint.
Many of you will know Global Experience as the collaboration between Roger Shah and Brian Laruso (not for this single). Since 2006 Global Experience have released the singles "Tennessee", "Dakar", "Zanzibar", "San Salvador" and "Koengen" on the Black Hole imprint. On Tiësto's “In Search of Sunrise 6” they appeared exclusively with "Madras" and on Mr. Sam’s first “Opus” compilation with "Malaysia". Global Experience’s has often been described as Balearic but their productions also include progressive house elements.
As for this brand new single "New Life", the boys come up with an incredibly energetic combination of banging techtrance with a clear progressive house influence in it. The strength of the track is definitely in the chorus line, played by loud and bass heavy synths, creating an instant whirlwind of positivism and an enticing urge to dance. And although it's winter on the north side of the planet, nobody can deny that this new Global Experience diamond has everything in it to become a belated Balearic anthem!
Dimitri Kechagias review: I'm so excited to review the brand new upcoming jewel by Global Experience. This project is one of my favorites and lets hope this release means that they will come back why not with a full album. Of course if you compare the previous tracks with New Life there are many differences. The main is that slowly they move in a more progressive house territory perfectly tuned with the current climate that needs epic progressive house sounds at the forefront. Of course their beats and percussion is still tribal and balearic but their sound is targeted towards the big rooms that love to mix up trance and house sounds. New Life has a massive feel good dreamy melody that really stands out and put that wide smile in your face without delays. Its the style that Avicii and Basto are using extesively in their tunes. Its perfect for the peak time moment of any prog house set and top notch for the first progressive hour of a nice quality trance set. Shah & Laruso Arena mix pushes the track to its limit and this one is bangier version with distortions and effects that we get usually in dirty dutch house tracks. The result will satisfy you if you target to see that lady in the bar naked cause she will be too hot after that to stay dressed up for sure. There is a cool dub version of the Arenaa mix. That means its a version minus the feel good balearic style melody with focus more on the power of the beat. If you search for a track to play after the 12.00 point at New Years Eve I feel this track will serve your needs well. Love IT!
