REVIEW: The 8th Note vs. Willian Clark EP out on Black Hole

1. Piano Roads
2. Forever

The 8th Note vs. Willian Clark present their brand new single on the Black Hole imprint, featuring the two titles “Piano Roads” and “Forever”.

The 8th Note (also known as Aviram Saharai, Itay Yona & Nissim Kadosh) is known as a house-based act that delivers an exciting combination of tech house and progressive, everything always delivered with the pumping power of electro house. “Piano Roads” is the best example here. The leisurely BPM of the track gives the staccato, more or less tribal, drum program a really funky feel and from the moment the beats kick in, the guys take their time to let the arrangement do the building up of the track. Feel that galloping bass deep down in the backing track and notice how, layer after layer, the hammering piano chords convolute with the fat synths stabs until after the break the big climax completely ignites the dancefloor. Every good DJ behind the turntables unleashing this future classic on his or her audience will know that you can play this track at the peak of the night. Start the smoke machines and tell the light jockey to pay attention, ‘cause “Piano Roads” will set the clubs on fire!

“Forever”, the second track in this package, is once again a trademark cut representing The 8th Note sound. This time a little less clubby with a clear nod and a wink towards modern day club trance, but with a powerful theme that you won’t be able to get out of your mind for a while. House style drum programming carries the crisp arrangement, initially played by a soft and crisp synth, towards an open and spacious sound image created by strings on top of piano. The result is a powerful all over sound that will create an instant party atmosphere on the world’s dancefloors. The 8th Note just handed every DJ two killer hit singles!
