REVIEW: JES - It's Too Late( First State Remixes) out on Magik Muzik/Black Hole

1. First State Remix
2. First State Radio Edit

JES presents her new single “It’s Too Late”, remixed by First State, on the Magik Muzik imprint.

For brilliant singles like this it’s of course never too late and the First State remix confirms it. The fans that were already familiar with the original version will be nicely surprised to hear this fabulous new rendition by the man better known as Sander van Dien. First State managed to maintain the fragile atmosphere that surrounded the original, puts an enticing focus on JES’ vocals and the elaborate use of a variety of instruments only adds to the excitement that this version creates. And while the remix rolls on, we’re literally drenched in not only a rough rolling bassline, but also big and fat sounding strings. DJs that are known for lengthy vocal trance live sets can add this one to their live set without a shred of doubt. It’s superb dancefloor material.

The First State radio edit will most certainly bring JES’ “It’s Too Late” to the airwaves to reach out to all listeners all over the world. A marvelous release.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Pop Diva JES with her singles proves more and more that she has the most suitable voice for Electronic Dance Music releases. She has that amazing ability with her voice and the brilliant way that she performs her lyrics to embody the feelings that she sings about and in that way to captivate you in her own dreamworld that all her songs create for the listener. Its Too Late is  out with some brilliant remixes from wide variety of artists. Now it's the time for the so talented and fast forward thinking First State to transform this track into a fat sounding progressive trance meets house version with electro influences, twisted beats and the right and exact dose of energy to keep the blood pumpin. This is ready made  version  for the big rooms perfect to apply when you feel that your dancefloor will literraly erupt by a powerful and emotional vocal track that doesnt obey codes and conventions  and can even make some people out there cry. Quality always wins and First State manage to translate JES words into manic beats for the dancefloor. Lets hope that they will co-operate for a track for the forthcoming First State album. They sound that they are made for each other.
