Amy Wiles releases her first stand-alone single of 2025, ‘Each Other’.
Anjunabeats linchpin Amy Wiles kicked off the year running with a sold-out headline show at renowned London nightclub, Phonox. Essex-based Amy then followed this up with ‘Heard It All Before’; a three-way collaboration with London-based DJ and producer, Leena Punks and Ukraine-born and Toronto-raised vocalist, flownastasia. The single has seen large support across BBC Radio 1 by both Danny Howard and Jaguar, as well as SiriusXM - being also playlisted on Diplo’s Revolution.
As Amy continues to rise through the UK dance scene, her latest production, ‘Each Other’, samples iconic 2000s hit ‘2People’ to which she places her signature trance spin.
Amy recently embarked on a short run of dates in the US, including Dreamstate San Francisco, Anjunabeats Austin at The Concourse Project and the Anjunabeats Miami Pool Party. Catch Amy at Anjuna25, New York City. Tickets on sale now: https://anjunabeats.com/gb/events
Amy Wiles is rapidly establishing herself as one of the most promising artists within the Anjunabeats family, a label renowned for its roster of super talented electronic music producers. Her 134 BPM single, "Each Other," showcases her innovative approach by sampling the iconic "2 People" in an imaginative and progressive manner that resonates deeply with both longtime fans and new listeners. From a technical standpoint, "Each Other" is a masterclass in contemporary trance and progressive house production. The track kicks off with energetic, driving basslines that are meticulously side-chained to create a rhythmic pulse, allowing the kick drum to cut through the mix with precision. The thumping drums are layered with crisp hi-hats and snappy snares, engineered to maintain dynamic energy throughout the track. Amy employs pulsating metallic basslines, crafted through the use of subtractive synthesis techniques and modulation effects, giving them a distinct texture that adds depth and character. The nostalgic touches are delicately woven into the arrangement, likely achieved through vintage synth patches and carefully curated ambient soundscapes that evoke a sense of familiarity. The fantastic trancy synths are a standout feature, characterized by lush, expansive pads and arpeggiated sequences that create an ethereal atmosphere. These elements are enhanced with reverb and delay effects, adding spatial depth and a shimmering quality that is quintessential to the trance genre. Vocally, the iconic sample from "2 People" is seamlessly integrated, processed with time-stretching, pitch modulation, and subtle reverb to ensure it blends harmoniously with the modern production elements. The placement and treatment of these vocals are impeccable, preserving their emotive essence while complementing the track’s progressive structure. The mixdown is polished to perfection, with a well-balanced frequency spectrum that highlights the clarity of each element. The mastering process ensures a loud yet dynamic final product, suitable for both club play and personal listening. The quality and result are so compelling that you'll find yourself pressing the repeat button repeatedly. "Each Other" is not just a track—it's an experience, a testament to Amy Wiles' technical prowess and creative vision.
