Music Conference: Roisin Murphy and Mochakk announced for IMS Dalt Vila - historic 2,500-year-old former fort and UNESCO World Heritage site

IMS Ibiza, the thought-leadership platform at the intersection of culture, education, industry, and wellness in electronic music, today announces the a-z line-up of the highly anticipated annual IMS Dalt Vila event in the world’s number one dance music destination, Ibiza. Widely regarded as the starting point of the summer season, IMS Dalt Vila will unite a unique collection of diverse and exciting DJ talent, both rising and established names who are making moves on the international electronic music scene, as well as a PA from trailblazing artist Róisín Murphy.

Presented in partnership with AlphaTheta, the seven-hour musical celebration marks the closing of the 15th edition of the three-day summit at the newly opened Mondrian Ibiza and Hyde Ibiza hotels. This unmissable event is held in the old town of Ibiza at the historic 2,500-year-old former fort, Dalt Vila, providing spectacular views of the Catedral de Eivissa with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. In 2024 the site celebrates the 25th anniversary of its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site, an award that recognises both its cultural and architectural value.

The IMS Dalt Vila 2024 line-up showcases extraordinary talent with a performance by the energetic Brazilian sensation Mochakk. Drawing from a broad range of musical influences, including the funk and soul of his home country Brazil, his charisma behind the decks has turned him into a global star.

IMS is proud to have Róisín Murphy performing a PA to the backdrop of an Ibizan sunset, shaped for IMS Dalt Vila and designed for the dance floor. For almost three decades, the Irish singer, songwriter and DJ, a resident of the White Isle, has injected the true spirit of Ibiza into her incredible ideas-bursting discography. First in the 1990s in the group Moloko and since 2005, as a prolific solo artist constantly rewriting dance music’s interaction with pop and disco. Her most recent albums affirm her iconic status in club culture - “Róisín Machine” which firmly re-introduced her as queen of the dance and her latest creative collaboration in the DJ Koze-produced new album, “Hit Parade”.

One of the fastest-rising stars in electronic music, the vibrant and unmistakable Ukrainian artist Miss Monique will also take to the IMS Dalt Vila stage for the very first time. Possibly the most recognised female Progressive House DJ, she has gained a huge fanbase now hooked on her exquisitely crafted and produced livestreams. One of the fastest-rising stars in electronic music, she is about to hit a million subscribers on her YouTube channel, a huge landmark at this stage of her career.

IMS is very excited to welcome for the first time two artists showcasing Amapiano and its fusion of deep house, jazz, kwaito and afrobeat elements. KILIMANJARO, hailing from South Africa, raised in Scotland and now residing in London, combines his background of Afro-centric rhythms and influences with the fast paced energies of the European electronic scene. Osabuohien Osaretin, better known by his stage name Sarz, is a two time Grammy-nominated Nigerian producer, mixing engineer, musician and DJ. The undisputed heavyweight producer of contemporary Afrobeats, his unique and pioneering production techniques have helped reshape Nigeria’s sound profile. Sarz is behind hit songs that not only top the Nigerian charts but also make an indelible mark on the global scene - Skrillez, Drake, Beyoncē and Skepta are but a few of his global superstar collaborators.

The accomplished and revered Sasha will be weaving his magic in the iconic setting of Ibiza’s Old Town in addition to close collaborator Frankie Wah. The UK producer and founder of SHÈN Presents has not only played in the world’s hottest clubbing destinations but has embedded his progressive sounds on the shores of the White Isle through his island residency at Club Chinois.

IMS Ibiza co-founder, BBC Radio 1 DJ and broadcaster and figurehead of dance music Pete Tong (MBE), will once again grace the decks at IMS Dalt Vila. With an unparalleled ear for new talent, Tong has become the leading tastemaker of the electronic generation and an industry icon.

Alex Wann, the Parisian DJ and producer, also joins the line-up. With his brooding deep house track ‘Milkshake’ he delivered one of the hottest tracks of summer 2023. As his star continues to rise, his musical prowess and innovative productions are sure to leave an indelible mark on the global dance music scene.

The pedigree of talent continues featuring IMS Ibiza co-host, broadcaster, selector and next-gen tastemaker Jaguar who will treat the audience to her signature cocktail of genre-hopping, feel-good bubblers. BBC6 Music presenter and winner of the DJ Mag top 100 Lifetime Achievement award DJ Paulette joins the IMS Dalt Vila line-up. From the Hacienda to Homoelectric, Paulette's career spans three decades, and is documented in her new book - Welcome to the Club: The Life and Lessons of a Black Woman DJ.

Completing the line-up of new talent is producer and vocalist Artche and Ibiza-based, Brazilian DJ Kalismã, both of whom will glide through electro, melodic techno, and house.

A limited number of IMS Dalt Vila Early Bird tickets are available to purchase now at €55, with General Admission priced at €60, available on Eventix.
