Having debuted on ‘Anjunadeep Explorations 03’ earlier this year, emerging UK duo Fluida now return with a trio of diverse cuts on their ‘Branches EP’. Title track and ‘Anjunadeep 09’ favourite ‘Branches’ sets the tone with its delicate atmospherics, vocal hooks and trademark hang drum sounds. Peak-time weapon ‘Ahead’ blends tribal grooves with an infectious looping riff, before the EP comes to a contrasting close with the brooding ‘Awaken’.
