Panama is a club on the northeast edge of central Amsterdam, right on the water and housed in a century-old former port authority building. The venue acts as a club for local and international house and techno talents and live performances with Pioneer newest soundsystem to match. The venue is expansive with high ceilings and windows, owing to the buildings warehouse heritage. Panama is one of the oldest running clubs in Amsterdam with a rich history and is definitely one of the go-to places of ADE.
Panama Amsterdam's ADE program has always been diverse and groundbreaking. With special ADE shows like Danny Tenaglia's comeback in 2006, Josh Wink's 20 years of Ovum party and special guests like Deep Dish, Derrick May, James Holden, Pete Tong and Groove Armada there is always something special going on at Panama Amsterdam.
On the Wednesday night for Panama's ADE opening, the iconic James Zabiela will headline the party along with Ansome, Jay Lumen and Pleasurekraft to name a few. On Thursday night Ferry Corsten invites Paul Oakenfold, ATB, Cosmic Gate and many others for a 14hr progressive / trance marathon.
Friday night sees Panama hosting their signature night with a 6hr b2b set by Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, joined by Henry Saiz amongst others. Saturday night is Mark Knight's Toolroom showcase with Umek, Tube & Berger and many more. On Sundaymorning Fatima Hajji throws an afterparty and at night Panama closes their ADE with names like Fred P, Patrice Scott, Gilles Smith & James Priestly, Boo Williams and Tom Trago.
