ADE 2016: Absolut introduce FACET - a new audio-visual club

On ADE's Friday night, Absolut turn Supperclub into a venue where creative visuals and exciting electronic music combine.

After recent announcements about ADE Next and ADE Sound Lab, it is now time to focus on another nice addition to ADE's Festival.

Pushing the conceptual boundaries of nightlife culture, Absolut will be launching FACET - a new clubbing experience on Friday October 21st. The night will feature performances from some of the scene’s most exciting musical talent, including Floating Points, Four Tet and Pantha du Prince alongside uniquely curated visuals by esteemed Dutch visual artist Heleen Blanken. Meanwhile the club’s APT Lounge will host local DJs Jochem Hamerling and Yves Eaux from the Madding Crowds label play a mix of house and techno

FACET will also see Applescal and Hessel Stuut debut a new audio visual collaborative project that has been six-months in the making. The renowned Dutch artists based the new concept around the theme of ‘joy’, working together the styles that have brought them so much recognition to date.

Earlier on in the evening from 7 PM, the club’s APT Bar will turn into the Absolut BeamLab Bar, an interactive session run in coordination with ADE Beamlab. The night will see presentations and discussions from leading visual artists Daniel Popper, Heleen Blanken, Children of the Light, Deframe, and Boompje, while Hessel Stuut will talk about his visual journey together with Applescal. The session is open to all interested in the world of creative visual performances.

Remember to also catch Heleen Blanken’s Hercules Segers themed installation at the Rembrandt House during ADE.
