REVIEW: Ian Buff - The Honkytonk Man out on Monster Force

After the powerful 'Phantom' doing the rounds in 2015, Ian Buff is back with another killer cut. 'The Honkytonk Man' is bold and brave, a diverse track with such a hefty bassline it might just shatter the foundations of wherever it's played! There's only one word for this, BIG!

'Definitely one of the best trance labels out there' - Armin van Buuren.
Established in 2004, Monster Tunes is one of the World's leading Trance and Progressive electronic dance music record labels.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Ian Buff has a  very extensive discography of powerful energetic trancers on various labels. His first release on Monster Force is the playful The Honkytonk Man. If you missed the German Teutonic power in trance  then this track will give you this and even more. Pounding metallic raw basslines, wonky grooves with thumping earth shuttering drums, sharp punchy kicks and even the classic hoover sound in it. The breakdown is atmospheric and moody perfect to reveal the weird and totally freaked out distorted main synthy lead. The climax is dynamic and in your face totally uncompromising focused on the basslines and smashing the stereo systems. With certain UK hard house and old school tech trance influences The Honkytonk Man is a trance hit in the making. #PureBass Love it [/content]
