DJ and producer Theo Kottis is undeniably one of the UK’s most exciting emerging talents. Rising through the underground scene over the past couple of years, Kottis has quickly made a name for himself with his residency at the legendary Sub Club and recent acclaimed releases on leading labels Get Physical and Moda Black.

First appearing on Anjunadeep’s inaugural ‘ Explorations’ EP this January with ‘Into The Wild’, Theo Kottis makes his full Anjunadeep debut with a pair of signature underground club cuts ‘I Won’t Forget’ and ‘All That Time’. A deep brooding two tracker, the EP expertly showcases his unique brand of emotive and textured house that has warranted the support of industry tastemakers including BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong and Danny Howard, Solomun, Âme, Maceo Plex and Jamie Jones among countless others.

‘I Won’t Forget' is a tech-infused club roller, a skilled production awash with delicate atmospherics, deft melodies and interspersed vocal hooks. ‘All That Time’ is a more reflective moment, full of cinematic synths and catchy top line rifts which drift amidst a driving bassline groove. A haunting melodic gem.

Theo Kottis is one of the finest discoveries of Anjunadeep for the wider public that may follow the label but not the scene that Theo is comes from. This EP is absolutely first class on the high quality level you can expect from Anjunadeep and most importantly Theo Kottis. His track I Won't Forget is deep melodic electronic house with cinematic touches and arrangement that dares to be different and dares to allow all the layers to breath rather than looking to provide easy to digest twists and shouts. Deep brooding basslines, chunky tribalish grooves, electronic synthy, heavenly voices and nice robotic voice stating the title I Won't Forget. Travelling and inspirational record that brings something truly special and highly atmospheric to any dj set with certain summery beach party touch to it. Mystical spiritual record that stands out and escape pigeonholing and music genre placement. All That Time is equally spiritual record with calmness and smoothness that has certain attraction to any listener. The spoken vocal samples, the distorted reversed melodies, the deep dark basslines combined with the minimal groove carry you away to places you have never been before but you always want to experience.
