REVIEW: Dusky - Ingrid Is A Hybrid out on 17 Steps

Very excited to present 'Ingrid Is a Hybrid’, the first single from our forthcoming artist album 'Outer'.

We’ve been working on ‘Outer’ for a while now and have put a lot of love into it. We can’t wait to share it in full later this year. Through the album process, we’ve explored a lot of our wider tastes and influences, collaborated with artists we respect and also conceived the live show that we’re debuting tomorrow at Village Underground.

‘Ingrid Is a Hybrid’ is a break from the 4/4 templates we’re known for, but represents a lot of what Dusky means to us. Enjoy! Nick and Alife

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Ingrid Is A Hybrid  comes from the forthcoming album of the classy act Dusky and is going to surprise you as they abandon temporarily their straight forward house sound by allowing other influences to come to the surface as well. It starts with emotional dreamy intro and them moves into the electro and break sequences while on top the eurodance style vocals add the 90's atmosphere to it. Spacey sound effects in the breakdown while the dancing comes back again when the electro climax is revealed and is destined to give you goosebumps as you go back in the 90s but in a very clever hybrid way. #PureGold Love it[/content]
