COMPILATION REVIEW: Anjunabeats in Miami 2016 Exclusives out on Anjunabeats

Arriving just in time for Miami Music Week, Anjunabeats In Miami 2016 features the latest sounds in trance and progressive from the likes of Above & Beyond, ilan Bluestone, Arty and Andrew Bayer - in addition to five compilation exclusives from European producers.

With a record of the week on Above & Beyond’s weekly radio show under his belt, UK producer Tom Marshall aka Marsh offers a fresh deep rework on the bands ‘Counting Down The Days’ (feat. Gemma Hayes).

A high tempo club rework of a ‘No Answers In Luck’ favourite, Boom Jinx and The Blizzard team up for ‘Senja’.

Keeping things on a Norwegian tip, Naden’s debut on the label is as warm and atmospheric as you’d expect from this polished producer. ‘Emotions For The People’ is an intricate heartwarming soundscape.

Moving across the border to Finland, ‘The Call’ is full of the quirky electro synths that have made Erconomics a regular feature on Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy show.

Following in the footsteps of Super8 & Tab and Yotto, Helsinki’s Movement Machina’s sound is reminiscent of the deeper works from Matt Lange. ‘Face Yourself’ has a distinct sunshine vibe with the plucky riff and guitar lead.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Anjunabeats goes deeper with smooth melodic deep progressive trance sounds that are flirting with deep prog house as well. Marsh remix elevates the beloved classic to the next level. Senja is a powerful mainstage trance journey worth attempting to take. Naden track has that Eric Prydz touch to it with attention to details by giving goosebumps non stop. The Call will surprise you with the heavenly voices, electronic synths and superb piano feel good chords. Lastly Face Yourself is a spacey dreamy affair with cool male vocals that propose to see ourselves and deal with what we have inside before trying to fix what is outside from us. #PureGold Love It [/content]
