Showcasing 3 stadium sized cuts from Anjunabeats Volume 12, the second compilation sampler celebrates 4 of the labels most established acts.
A sought after remix from Above & Beyond’s DJ sets around the world over the last 12 months, man of the moment Jason Ross delivers a modern take on the bands Tri-State classic ‘Alone Tonight’. An exhilarating contemporary trancer, this is set to be one of the highlights of Anjunabeats biggest North American tour, starting in January 2016.
One of the poignant moments from Above & Beyond’s revered ‘We Are All We Need’ album, ‘Little Something’ sees Jono, Paavo and Tony reunite with OceanLab songstress Justine Suissa. An emotive record that has since taken on a life of its own via the Little Something Charitable Fund, Volume 12’s mainstage mix comes courtesy of Finland’s finest production duo, label veterans Super8 & Tab.
Rounding off the package is the second contribution to the mix from Germany’s Kyau & Albert. A slow burning progressive track awash with vintage synths and chord progressions, ‘Bend Girl’ is a typically hooky production.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Anjunabeats vol.12 is finally out and the unmixed samplers for the joy of many djs out there are released too. On the 2nd incredible sampler we are treated VIP class with 3 magnificent tracks taken from the legendary compilation series. Firstly is the superb Jason Ross remix on the classic Above & Beyond anthem Alone Tonight. What can we say for such a magnificent track that Jason transforms into an energetic uplifting progressive trancer with punchy basslines, pounding drums, energetic kicks and beautiful melodies particularly in the breakdown that is luscious and mesmerizing with ethereal themes and cinematic atmosphere that highlights the strengths of the classic vocal and make you sing-along even louder along with thousands of festival goers surround you. The climax is euphoric, anthemic, hands in the air and extremely positive so nobody should be alone tonight anymore. The exceptional Little Something with the incredible Justine Suissa on vocal duties is remixed in perfection by Super8 & Tab. The Finish duo knows better than anyone else to bring their electro house grooves, punchy pulsating basslines and brilliant melodic hooks and create their own brand of trance music. The breakdown is sugar sweet with piano melody that you don't forget easily along with cinematic strings and classy arrangement. The climax takes the main melodies and transform them into a massive hands in the air experience that push your adrenaline levels to the limits and yes some tears in your cheeks as well. Lastly Kyau & Albert continue to deliver the goods as they construct a stunning piece of melodic progressive trance with understated euphoric themes, airy pads, heavenly voices and floating drive towards an unknown direction. Waiting for the big moment that Above & Beyond will win The Grammy to celebrate it with big smile on our face! 10/10 for all of them #PureGold Love It
