REVIEW: Stuart Millar - Airplein incl Peter Steele remix out on Pure Trance recordings

Simplicity is the key here! Airplein from Belfast’s Stuart Millar strips things right down to 3 key elements, beats, bass and an almighty infectious riff that conjures up images of lasers, smoke and strobes. On the remix is Peter Steele who recently released the beautiful Mantra on Pure Trance, that made waves with all the key players in the scene. Steele’s treatment of Airplein does it again, keeping things simple but effective, increasing the BPM and energy level a little. Fusing that riff with mesmeric pure trance arpeggios and synth licks while sticking rigidly to the less is more approach. Don’t miss.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The very talented Stuart Millar builds his CV with great productions. His latest arrives on Solarstone's Pure Trance recordings label. Emotional driving euphoric trance in the shape of Airplein. This is straight to the point trancer that has influences from melodic psy trance and euphoric trance. With old school kickdrums, driving psy trance basslines, heavenly trance voices and superb breakdown packed with mesmerising atmospherics and beautiful hypnotic sounds. The climax is euphoric and peak time trance as it gets with memorable synthy riffs that radiate energy all over the place. Peter Steele is on board as well and his version is moving on the same direction with tougher drums, thicker metallic driving basslines, superb dynamic arrangement and euphoria along with beautiful electronic synths and acid overtones. If you want something darker but still delightful and euphoric this version will keep the dancefloor pumping for good. This is #PureGoldTrance Love It
