The Amsterdam Dance Event is organised every year during 15th to 19th of October. It is considered to be the world's leading platform  for the Electronic Music scene, culture and the developing industry that grows rapidly day by day in many and wide variety of surprising directions. It is definitely the most creative, influential, progressive, inventive industry that everybody aspires to become part of it. From producers, djs, retailers, festival organisers, advertising agencies, managers, to specialised lawyers electronic music industry is here to stay and better be part of it  and get involved rather than looking from outside and thinking that is out of your intrests.

The Amsterdam Dance Event includes wide variety of thematic streams that you can follow in order to be informed, educated and entertained of course. ADE Pro, ADE Green, ADE Next, ADE University, ADE Beamlab and ADE Hard Dance Event.  Amsterdam city is dressed up already with the colours of black and yellow and the well known symbol/trade mark of ADE can be found all around the city that becomes the massive Playground that variety of events will take place on the most unorthodox spaces.

Of course those who are here for nigh life will enjoy ADE Festival with events that cover every possible taste in electronic music on brand new and older venues. If you love house, trance, techno, deep house, electronic, eclectic, hard dance / hardstyle there would be an event that  will cater for you so keep the eyes open on ADE web site for the daily updated program and live streaming of ADE radio that will broadcast for the first time sets from the various venues to syndicated radio stations around the world. The web site is the absolute place to be and  feel ADE on the move and get informed about the daily developments.

The delegates are slowly arriving in the city and there are cues in the main registration centre ADE X SAMSUNG at Rembrandtplein.  Visitors from around the world  are waiting to register with excitement painted in the faces, to get their budges and surprisingly not getting the conference programme as this year all the schedule, venues and directions will only be available online as everything will be focused on the web site.

Replacing the conference programme and the list of delegates is the excellent collectors item book with wide variety of features, interviews and great photographs that you would be glad to have them in your library in the hard copy form. Another idea for the future would be to replace the printed ADE Pro schedule with pdf file that you can be able to check out without internet connection maybe offered in memory stick or usb. Please note that ADE X Sinners fantastic bag is availiable to collect at Club ADE, Registration Desk and ADE Bag Pick-Up Point at Keizersgracht 264, Amsterdam(Near Felix Meritis and The Dylan). I must confess that I got already mine and looks great. With enough space to include all your precious items in it going to work or in a holiday or in a mountain excursion too.

Overall the first impression of this first contact with ADE was really positive and is simply mindblowing to meet so many people from around the world who have the same passion like you. Lust, Love and dedication about electronic dance music. Our family gathers in Amsterdam, come along, everybody is invited! Be There Be in #Amsterdam 15-19 October.

It is our most basic need and a fundamental right. Therefore, we introduce The Tapwater Project: unlimited fresh water at the Amsterdam Dance Event. To facilitate this, find a free water pouch in your ADE conference bag for unlimited refills. At conference locations Felix Meritis, De Brakke Grond and Pakhuis de Zwijger, refill stations have been placed to make drinking water easy accessible for everyone.  Want to know more? Find out all about the Tapwater project at ADE Green during the Free Water for Everyone panel, with Lightning in a Bottle, We Love Art, Delight Agency, C30 and ID&T. What happens if you make water freely available? Is there a business model behind the idea? And what do the festival organisors think?

ADE Conference: ADE Green: Free Water for Everyone - the Business Plan Behind the Idea, Wednesday October 15, 1.25 pm - 2.10 pm, Felix Meritis. More info here.

ADE Green focuses on both sustainability and how to implement social responsible practices in your business. Browse the  entire program here.

With ADE fast approaching, we are now seriously ready to get started. One of the highlights of ADE Pro is the annual Gamechangers panel featuring a diverse selection of exceptional individuals who, one way or another, have helped transform electronic music culture.

Using innovation, invention, imagination and instinct, each one has created something from nothing, and Gamechangers explores how they did it, and what separates them as individuals from the rest of their peers.

This year we welcome DJ and producer Arthur Baker, mostly known from his legendary track with Afrika Bambaataa 'Planet Rock', which created the benchmark for hip hop, electro and house in 1982, Jean-Michel Jarre, a pioneer of electronic music who brought the genre to new peaks of mainstream popularity in the late 70s and throughout the 80s, selling over 80 million albums worldwide, legendary producer and DJ Paul Oakenfold, and the CEO of Native Instruments Daniel Haver, the driving force behind products like Traktor and Maschine.

So, to get you in the mood, we dug up the video of last year's Gamechangers with Giorgio 'I feel love' Moroder, hitmaker supreme Nile Rodgers, Dave 'Mr. Midi' Smith, Cabaret Voltaire's Stephen Mallinder, India's Sunburn Festival Founder Shailendra Singh, and co-founder of Ableton Gerhard Behles. Enjoy and see you in a couple of days!

ADEConference: ADE Pro: Gamechangers Part III, Thursday October 16, 4:45 pm - 6 pm, Felix Meritis.
