For Pitto, music is all about sharing emotions. Pitto has never really been one to conform. He has always taken the freedom to investigate uncharted roads, developing his own sound and scene along the way. Pitto’s first releases brought a breath of fresh air to the Dutch techno scene. Both "Sexvibe" (Area Remote, 2008) and "Feelin’ (Rejected,2009) were embraced by the international electronic dance community. Feelin’, in particular, stood out in it’s simplicity and originality, making it a massive chart success.
Over the years, Pitto has obtained a loyal following in The Netherlands. Taking his musical endeavours to the stage and consistently rocking dancefloors with a solid live show surely helped matters; as did his warm personality and energetic spirit. Initiatives like Vers Vermaak, Stekkerfest and Moodelevator are visited and loved by many and fans supported him in winning the Grand Prize, one of Holland’s most prestigious music talent awards.
On his debut artist album - Objects In A Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear (Green, 2011) Pitto displayed a mature and genre-defying sound. Working with a number of different musicians and vocalists and even singing on a couple of tracks himself. The album was well received. Reviews like "instant classic" filled the world wide web.
Pitto released the ep "Richclap" (Wolfskuil records,2012). Again with a great response. With "Fly Like A Bird" in 2014 multi-instrumentalist, DJ and free-spirited Utrecht Pitto once again shows a knack for turning great happiness in an equally melodic and melancholic dance composition. Pitto always has taken the liberty to go untrodden paths and thus develop his own sound. The charismatic Dutchman inspires his crowd at his live shows.
"Fly Like A Bird" includes Club Mix and Dub Mix by Pitto himself. Garnished is the 4-track EP that is exclusive since 12/15/2014 at Beatport available from the Sonar Kollektiv label mates Barck & ComixXx and the SUOL protege Till von Sein.

Pitto from Utrecht in the Netherlands with years of experience delivers the very beautiful track Fly Like A Bird. It follows the melodic deep house pathway with deep relaxing groove, deep pulsating bassline and he utilises many warm organic elements like live percussion, sunny guitar riffs, congas and xylophones while on the top luscious pads and cinematic strings create the magical dreamy atmosphere. Of course very strong element that stands out is the superb male vocal with that country music / folk music tone. The result is an eclectic journey for the senses that you can either listen while you enjoy your cocktail or while you dance hypnotised in the middle of the dancefloor. The Dub mix changes the tempo completely by adopting a lazy slow groove and electro like weird synthy line that drives the track forward by adding some chopped vocal parts as well. Perfect to end your dj set in true style with this one. The two remixes extend the pleasure even further. Till von Sein focuses and highlights even more the xylophone melody while the bassline is smooth and the groove hypnotic and inviting to enter its magical soundscapes. Lastly Barck & ComixXx translate the track into a slower minimal affair with great drum programming, female chopped vocals and dreamy relaxing atmosphere that give you that sense that you Fly Like A Bird.
