The only 21-year-old producer Philip George from Nottingham does't like styles and substyles of House Music. He creates whatever he likes. In his new single, "Wish You Were Mine," which will be published on 28.12.2014, the young Briton uses clever the famous chorus from the song "My Cherie Amour" by Stevie Wonder.
In his native Philip George celebrates first successes. His track made it to # 7 in the Shazam UK charts. "Wish You Were Mine" reached a daily average of 80,000 Plays online (over 1 million). Also, BBC Radio 1 became aware of the artist and made his track to "Track Of The Day" and took him to the BBC Radio 1 C list.
Dimitri Kechagias review: It is such a big pleasure to review one of the first house anthems and chart hit for 2015. He is definitely a name to watch and his magnificent old school anthem Wish You Were Mine put him straight away in the map of those to watch and wait big things in the coming year. His track is a great hybrid of deep house, melodic house with electronic synths, chunky groove and old school garage house bassline that sounds large on the right soundsystems. The classic house organ riff is present in it as well to add that Ibiza atmosphere and take our mind, body and soul to foam parties and crazy nights out in the white Isle. The vocal sample is used stretched and chopped in pieces to accommodate his great foundation of wonderful mesmerising sounds. Of course whenever you hear those lyrics you get goosebumps straight away and he applies them in all the right places. Wish You Were Mine is number 2 record at the UK Top 40 in 2015 and its up to Philip to grow his career on the back of this enormous hit. Now additional remixes are on offer to extend our pleasure with it. First of all is the DJ SKT Remix that moves on the same safe pathway of deep house with bassline that is absolutely mouthwatering and danceable rhythm that makes you wanna dance with somebody even if he/she is not the one that loves you. With 90's rave culture influences and UK garage house elements the remix is pleasurable in its full vocal or dub mixes. Mandal & Forbes remix attempts to inject the track with balearic house elements and turn the track into an uplifting house affair with feel good summery old school piano chords with airy pads, colourful synths and positive atmosphere that gives you instantly a wide smile in your face. Last but not least Wide Awake remix translates the original into an aggressive future house anthem that djs like Laidback Luke and Oliver Heldens will adore to play. Excellent trap breakdown, weird in your face basslines and huge siren effects for the best club experience ever. #PureGold Love It
