Celebrating the 100th release on the Future Sound Of Egypt, Aly & Fila bring three collaborations taken from their album The Other Shore.
Dimitri Kechagias review: First of all we should congratulate FSOE recordings for reaching the milestone that is the 100th release. It's an achievement and proof that Aly & Fila who drive the label forward they definitely know what they are doing. The best way to celebrate it is with something special and that is the extended versions of 3 strong collaborations included on Aly & Fila very successful album The Other Shore that is mentioned by many artists on their best of 2014 interviews on Flux Bpm Online as one of the best albums of the year in trance music. First of all is the collaboration with the Irish Sneijder who is one of the best dj and producer appearing in the scene lately. Their common track is called Full Throttle and this is the more aggressive side of the album. Here we move on the serious no holes barred tech trance territory with heavy drum programming, focus on the manic aggressive basslines and sharp acid layers. The only melodic part is the breakdown that is packed with trance goodness and pleasures for the mind. The melody is very uplifting, emotional and recalls trance classics from the past. The climax changes the mood again as it goes full on hard hitting banging booming hard trance for those late night moments. I would love to get some more melody in the climax but I can understand that the more serious dark types out there need their music too. The second track is more my cup of green mint tea. Perfect uplifting melodic trance at its very best co-produced with the lovely French star Ferry Tayle who had his album release as well on 2015. The track is Nubia and is simply magical with its exceptional sound design, crystal clear melodies, spiritual synths and full on hands in the air pure trance climax that gives you a wide smile in your face. Nubia is an energetic emotional intense powerful journey that will make you fly instantly. The third track comes from the hands of the Germans Stoneface & Terminal. It seems that Germany catches up with trance again and great parties are organised there. Stoneface & Terminal release their album too with fantastic responses and in their collaboration with Aly & Fila for the track Universelab prove why they are considered to be so important and influential. Their ability to create that sense of floating upon on the sound waves with driving energeric progressive style basslines, chunky drum programming and sunkissed emotional synths that stand out from the crowd. Its impossible not to get shivers when you hear great tracks like this one and not feel transferred to magical places and unknown mysterious places when you reach the long and highly unbelievable breakdown that leaves you speechless wondering if trance music is the best thing that happened in your life. 3 Top productions to satisfy wide range of trance believers cause we must not forget that Trance is Universal Religion and takes you right on The Other Shore. #PureGold #PureClass Love It
