Featured on Anjunadeep 06, title track “Got This Feeling” is an anthem in the best sense of the word; catchy but classy with intricate details. A chugging melodic groove and lazy percussion make way for a majestic piano breakdown and a joyous vocal loop. Anjuna regulars can finally put an ID to this one after hearing it on their Anjunadeep Edition mix earlier this year!
“Still Linger In My Dreams” is another beautiful piece of soulful and melodic dance music that shows Cubicolor at their most cinematic. Sweeping percussion combines with another gorgeous vocal loop, surrounded by deft textures and intricate production.
“A New High” sees Cubicolor show off their darker side, with a dancefloor orientated tech house weapon heard recently in Dom Donnelly’s Anjunadeep Edition mix. Energetic percussion drives the track through to a complex breakdown which builds and builds before skilfully dropping back into the flowing bass groove.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Cubicolor originate from Amsterdam that seems to be one of the big hubs for electronic dance music at the moment as the Silicon Valley is for new technologies and innovation. Cubicolor deliver on the beloved label Anjunadeep three magnificent tracks that showcase their abilities to compose emotional danceable music that stands against the test of time and remain eternally alive in our memory. Got This Feeling stands out as it is simply mesmerising, haunting, dreamy and absolutely mindblowing with wide variety of layers underneath the cool repetitive whistle melody that will hypnotise your crowd without doubts. The groove is tribal and chunky with warm basslines, retro synths, emotional strings and great percussive elements as well. The breakdown is the moment that this very mysterious old school vocal appears that will be easily memorized along with piano melodies and swirling synths. Travelling, inspiring track that gives me shivers and I can listen to it on repeat mode for a whole day non stop cause it seems that I Got this Feeling. Still Lingers In My Dreams is an 8 minutes epic track that starts with tribal chunky groove until to land on the first breakdown that the melancholic piano melody appears along with swirling synths and great vocal parts as well supported by magical choir like voices and guitar riffs. It brings in my mind mental images of October nights in Amsterdam during Amsterdam Dance Event and yes makes me fall in love with this city even more. Lastly New High is an excellent deep dark tech house composition with great playful groove that lock you in its dreamworld instantly with strange weird synths and little industrial moody melodies here and there. If you play tech house prime time sets New High delivers what the title promises and your audience will reach higher plane without doubts. Must have EP! #PureGold Love it
