HDE's highlights include the 5 years of HDE panel with Q-dance, Coone, and Platinum Agency and others, Q&As with Partyraiser and Noisecontrollers, an examination of how the harder styles of dance music are doing in the online world in The Beat Goes Online where associates from YouTube and Cloud 9 Music amongst others, and HDE University, which offers a unique side program full of interactive discussions, lectures and informative Q&As, looking at current and future developments on the global hard dance scene, with MC Villain, E-Life, Famehouse, WE/DO Agency, Absolutely Fresh, Minus Militia, Donkey Rollers and Ophidian to name just a few.
In the five years since it started, the global popularity of the harder styles in the EDM genre has grown explosively, turning it into an un-ignorable genre and making the fact that HDE is celebrating its fifth birthday all the sweeter. HDE is now amongst the most important dates in the annual hard dance calendar, offering fans and professionals the chance to meet and share their ideas for the future of a genre that attracts the most highly committed performers and deeply passionate supporters. And with ever more hard dance artists incorporating elements from other styles, we are currently enjoying an intriguing transitory stage that could see artists from the genre producing genuine crossover bangers.
