REVIEW: Markus Schulz - Destino incl Aaron Camz out on Coldharbour recordings

For most DJs, the summer season signifies a journey to the magical island of Ibiza, which throughout the years has provided some of the most inspirational productions. During his work on the Scream 2 album, this instance occurred for Markus Schulz, whilst sitting outside the Destino hotel.

Despite the quaint ambiance, Markus adapted his surroundings and envisaged the track as a signature for one of his much loved cities - Montreal. From that Wednesday Ibiza evening, Destino was born, and since the beginning of this year, has been an almost constant request anywhere he plays, thanks to its spine-tingling melody.

To compliment the original, Markus turns to the talented Australian Aaron Camz. Following up from his massive original Emission from earlier in the year, Aaron gives Destino his usual techy treatment, providing the track with a harder edge for festival season.

Destino - made in Ibiza, made for Montreal, embraced around the world.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Markus Schulz is totally unstoppable and his album Scream 2 is wealthy for new singles. One of those tracks that the fans were eager to get in its full extended version is of course Destino. This is what we call Markus Schulz epic progressive trance at its very best and highest quality. With his signature dark brooding basslines, the chunky wonky sparkling groove, swirling synths, side chain effects and superb breakdown with variety of emotional synthy plucks that crawl under your skin and touch your heart. His climax is truly epic with the synthy hooks leading the proceedings and sound so deeply emotional that make you feel like being in the verge of start crying on the dancefloor. It is truly a hymn that will last for many years and trance family will refer to as classsic! Just let yourself go with the flow, with hands in the air wave your flag with the Coldharbour recordings logo on it and seize the night. Aaron Camz is on remix duties and we don't expect less than perfect from this talented and continuously evolving producer. For this remix he delivers something that targets the mainstage sets with tougher crunchier groove, punchy energetic bassline and of course the big anthemic synthy melody that once you hear it will be super hard to forget without doubts. If you want a much more solid and to the point version for harder sets Aaron delivers the goods. #PureGold Love iT
