One of those new projects that receive the attention of Paul Oakenfold and Perfecto records is DedRekoning with their magnificent dreamy melodic progressive trance meets electro pop anthem Only Child featuring the stunning singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor who simply sounds really different and her tone has that 80's electro pop tracks feel. The original mix is a wonderful early trance set / warm up melodic progressive trancer that will calm, relax and travel your senses. With fantastic synths, bubbly basslines and sweet dreamy melodies is ear pleaser without doubts and can be very effective as closing track on early morning set too. The remix package is extensive and offer different view points on this magnificent production. First of all the owner of the label legend Paul Oakenfold transforms the original into a pumping mainstage trance banger with big room heavy aggressive basslines, rough drums and of course fantastic breakdown with rock guitar riffs that underline the great vocals and lead nicely on the rocking full on Ibiza style drop. East & Young are on board and their remix is Swedish epic progressive house at its very best. Energetic, powerful, in your face and absolutely explosive with piano chords in the breakdown use of just of the chorus of the vocals followed by full on euphoric hands in the air epic drop that will do big damage on festivals for sure.
