Of course the latest release by Maison & Dragen is not exactly progressive house or exactly big room trance. The Finish duo that impressed the world with their stunning album Initium on Armada Music, deliver the extended big bouncy version of the brilliant single Nemesis. The track has great inner strength, energy, dynamism and is 100% ready to catapult the international dancefloors. What is most important of course is that is not just a mixture of noises to make masses of people dance but actually has musicality with strong melodic themes that manage to crawl under your skin and rejuvenate your senses. It starts with long cool intro and then the heavy drums and slamming energetic driving bassline come in along with euphoric hi-nrg synthy themes that drive the track to the first breakdown. Here the big melodramatic classical music influenced themes are revealed along with piano melody that make you float. Of course very soon the kick strikes back and the track goes out of order for the full on hands in the air euphoric sequence. Next the more aggressive wonky raunchy part comes in to keep the crowd interested and dancing on the floor. Slowly uplifting synths and robotic style vocals are added and after a short breakdown the uplifting feel good sections is reintroduced and the main dramatic theme is highlighted and repeated again and again from variety of synthy sounds.
