Dimitri Kechagias review: The Dutch producer Aerofoil aka Nick van Mansum is considered to be one of the strongest in the progressive trance spectrum with unique style that stands out and offer him his deserved respected place within the trance family. His brand new release comes on ARVS/Armada Music and includes 3 fantastic tracks that will satisfy our desire for the next hypnotic trance journey. It includes  Phase 2 Face with Original & Club mix and the Live edit of Then, Still & Always Will. The original mix is wonderful deep dark trancer on the well known Coldharbour recordings style. It's very moody and esoteric with throbbing driving bassline, pounding techy beats and great piano melody that is repeated on top and adds to the track its ethereal feeling. The breakdown has that cinematic atmosphere.that excite your imagination and you wonder what is coming next. The outstanding dark and sinister sharp synthy riff comes to the forefront to create havoc and excitement. The climax is full on and in your face with swirling synths and side chain effects  with less melodic and bass focused. Then, Still & Always Will is a powerful progressive trancer that is more melodic and blissful than the previous track. The beautiful like sonar sound synths on top nicely lead the pounding bassline and the techy groove towards the breakdown that the massive electric guitar melody is introduced that will recall Pink Floyd for sure. The climax is full on and straight to the point hands in the air pure progressive trancer with various synthy plucks performing the summery sunkissed melody that the cool guitar riff introduced to us. It's great production that can be labelled as balearic trance as well and will get multiple plays in Ibiza. Last but not least the Original mix of Phase 2 Face is pretty similar with the club mix with the main difference that rather than following the tech trance direction after the breakdown he rather follows the melodic euphoric arrangement with that exceptional gigantic synthy lead at the top of the manic driving bassline giving the track that hands in the air crescendo moment. #PureGold Love iT
