Dimitri Kechagias review: Discover Dark presents the must expected new remixes of the classic trance anthems produced by the hands of the trance master John Askew. 5 brand new exceptional remixes that will feel you space with energy and darkness of course.First of all the upcoming and quickly rising to the top of his game Harmonic Rush drops his full on energetic tech meets psy trance version of the awesome Giving You Acid. He does what he knows best by toughening the heavy metallic drum beat, adding his punchy fast and furious bassline while he keeps his arrangement playful with frequent stop and goes where he usually applies some clever vocal samples. The breakdown is where all the magic happens with Indian hair raising traditional melodies and ethnic vocals. The beat strikes back and goes full on acid hard tech trance with psy trance flavours in it as well. Superb banger that targets huge trance stages and arenas this summer from the producer who never goes wrong. Vlind is adding his translation on Fade To Black and he does his best to impress. He adopts classic uplifting trance foundation with groove and bassline that is powerful and punchy while on top he adds the psy trance identified synths and heavy doses of acid overtones. The breakdown starts with ethereal heavenly female voices and very soon the massive euphoric synthy riff appears to energize your senses and elevate you to a higher dimension. The climax is twisted and surprising as it starts in truly damaged and freaked out way but very soon comes in the full on euphoric uplifting trance section that will blow for sure and make you feel like being part of Star Wars in truly space trance sound. Amir Hussain continues to attract the attention with his mouthwatering remix on Z List Uber Star. His version is stunning for various reasons. The main is of course his tough and rough pumping drums and pulsating basslines melted with acid riffs. His breakdown includes smashing breakbeats sequence that builds the tension and fantastic build up that tease you like dancing in hot bubbling water. The climax is dark and ultra rough but is really exceptional how he recreates the original melody with acid layers that push your senses to the limits. Sensualise is doing top remix on The Witch. His remix starts with cinematic intro that adds great atmosphere particularly if you use it as an intro track in your dj set. His main part follows the modern psy trance meets tech trance sound without being strictly the one or the other. It has influences from the UK hard house sound of the late 90's that djs like the late Tony De Vit was playing on top clubs like Trade. His arrangement is really surprising with many sound effects that keep you interested wondering what is coming next. On The Witch is on remix duties the top Serjan as well. His version is influenced widely from neo Psy trance, tech trance and uplifting trance style as well. He follows a very personal playful style that will surprise the listener as it starts quite dark and techy but very soon moves to the uplifting trance section with old school piano riffs, euphoric synths and various cool synthy plucks arranged with frequent stops and goes and great application of the various vocal samples. Of course his breakdown attempts to be very uplifting with old school piano melodies that will uplift the crowd straight away with mindblowing climax that will smashes many speakers, you have been warned. It can be easily named as a big damager that nobody can be responsible for the side effects of it! #PureGold Love IT
