REVIEW: Inertia- The Chamber (Remixes) out on Discover records

It seems like only yesterday when the original version of The Chamber punched its way on to the decks of pretty much every discerning trance DJ on the planet.

Fast forward more years than we would care to remember and the track has been revisited by two of the hottest producers on the scene right now.

Indecent Noise needs no introduction. No stranger to the Discover imprint he has carved an impressive career as both a DJ an d a producer and he brings that to the party here with this superb interpretation of the original.

Liam Wilson's rise through the ranks is nothing short of meteoric. Over the last 18 months he has gone from being one to watch to one of the hottest names in trance at the moment.

His remix originally appeared on his triumphant Underground Anthems compilation and since that time it has been one of our most requested single releases.

Classic tracks require classic treatment and both Indecent Noise and Liam Wilson have most certainly delivered on that score.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most beloved and inspired trance tracks of all time is of course the unforgettable anthem The Chamber by the well known project Inertia. The trance anthem is back in truly refashioned style perfect for the big rooms and uplifting trance tents in the summer festivals. The dj, producer and Mental Asylum record label owner Indecent Noise does his magic and service his nearly 9.00 minutes straight forward trance style by abandoning for a while the harder tech trance meets psy trance sound that he is currently involved. Uplifting euphoric straight forward trancer that respects the original greatly and updates it without diluting its fantastic atmosphere. Superb unforgettable melodic themes upon the tough rolling groove and the acid overtones. The breakdown is jam packed with emotional synths that crawl under your skin and touch your heart easily. When the main synthy lead appears the crowd reactions can not be easily predicted. The climax is full on and hands in the air Pure emotional honest feel good trance with acid layers on top to keep things balanced and quite dark too. Liam Wilson is currently on the rise with huge success on his originals and remixes as well. His remix is powerful, energetic, dynamic and absolutely earth shuttering with tough drums, driving energetic basslines, acid layers and strong melodic themes. His breakdown is very atmospheric that starts quite relaxed and smooth but very soon the brilliant original riff appears recreated in truly gigantic style that sounds larger than life. The cool vocal sample reminds us the title of the track and follows the massive banging full on hard trance climax that is impossible to left you untouched and unmoved. So expect the unexpected and particularly if you are on old trancer when you will recognise the original melody your hair will stand still and shivers will cover your body. #PureGold Love it
