Belgian DJ and producer K-Fel debuts on Bonzai Progressive with this stunner 'Pantheon' and comes backed with two top quality remixes. Growing up with the legendary clubs Belgium had to offer turned K-Fel to electronic music. By 2001 he decided to become a DJ where he kept an open mind on genres which led to him getting gigs at top venues. 2011 saw a surge in his productions and his tracks have seen good support from all over.
The original Mix sets off with a true progressive vibe as very cool percussions lead us up to a brilliant chunky kick. This is soon joined by a surreal collection of pads and a fantastic arp which takes us into the main track. A smooth bassline sits perfectly in the sound as it trundles along with an infectious synth hook going off overhead. Classy tweaks on the synth take us up to the first break where a female spoken vocal comes through reporting a zombie apocalypse. Superb stuff and a definite must for those darker progressive rooms!
Napalm & D-phrag are back at BP for remix duties on this brilliant track. We last saw the guys with their 'Tour De Force' which saw great support across the spectrum. Here they get right down to business with a brilliant remix. The intro boasts a single percussion with a deep and droning synth that pulsates through the sound. This leads us beautifully into a cool drum arrangement and sets the scene for this fantastic journey. Anticipation builds as risers take us through the sections before a superb, driving bassline takes over creating a sublime atmosphere. The break is where it's at, dark pads weave through and soon a brilliant melody takes hold which is in perfect contrast to the darker element. Look out for the chord changes here, they really set the track on fire, stunning!
Yuriy From Russia continues to impress with the sheer quality of his work. Here he is on remix duty and what a display he puts on. Big chunky kicks and subtle percussions are met with a deep bassline as a mesmerising synth line scurries through the sound brilliantly. The track breaks to the spoken vocal as soft melodic sequences begin to form to the backdrop of a surreal pad before coming back into full on progressive mode. An epic journey that is full of beautiful intricacies and melodic twists, this is not to be missed!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Bonzai Progressive strikes back with another very strong progressive house anthem that will blow many speakers worldwide. K-Fel from Belgium presents his superb progressive house smasher called Pantheon. The original mix has very strong tribal house grooves while on top he adds various glitzy sounds and huge siren like synths. The breakdown is the moment that the cinematic dark vocal sample appears to bring shivers of fear all over your body. His climax brings back the siren like synthy that adds extra energy and life to this superb track. Napalm & D-phrag remix adopts deeper basslines, minimal groovy techy beats while in the breakdown they replace the vocals with huge orchestral classical music theme that actually inspires the synthy themes that appear in the climax that is really blissful and hypnotic with psy trance feel to it! Lastly Yuriy From Russia presents the progressive house meets prog trance version that is tougher, faster and more demanding that the other two versions. He applies a lot the siren like synthy lead and also he uses twice the spoken vocal sample upon his magical soundscape with aggressive driving basslines and bouncy techy grooves. Progressive house at its should be done! Don't miss the Bonzai Stage at Tomorrowland. Both weekends on Saturday the Bonzai Stage will include the big stars of the label! Love IT
