FEDERATION disinter the double A-side on their second FEED THE MOTH release. A ’New Religion’ meta-sequel, with The Emperor and The Empress cast as leads.
'(YOU GOT THE) CHEMISTRY WRONG' is a song about you and the man you conceal. VERAVEN channels Destruction by way of The Banshee's. STONE, YAXLEY and WAR ROOMS hold the line.
'THESE SIX WORDS (WILL DESTROY YOU)' is a perverted tale of parental abandonment. The Empress our villain, fleeing her nest for a second bite of the sex cherry. A memory is just a memory of the last time you remembered it. LOST wails.
LITTLE ANNIE STARTS TO CRY.
FREESOUP serves up a much needed trilogy of floor friendly interpretations. His main mix is a propulsive trance workout that utilises the acid and chants to excellent effect. His Dark Dub is a serpentine ride into Schaffel and back, with a mute instrumental - for those rooms beyond words - completing the triptych.
FEDERATION are busy rehearsing for a very rare LIVE ritual, due to be conducted on APRIL 25th at THE FEZ in SHEFFIELD UK
Dimitri Kechagias review: Federation is one of those projects/groups that always surprise you and go against any preconceptions and rules. As it is evident from their latest single Chemistry Wrong EP on their own label Feed The Moth their goal is to expand your mind and not only make you dance but think a little as well. Both (You Got The) Chemistry Wrong and These Six Words (Will Destroy You) are fantastic psy trance smashers that add rock guitar riffs and melodies as well and in that way sounds like thrash psy trance referring to thrash metal. Dark, atmospheric, strange, mysterious, unexpected at some moments but very danceable as well both tracks have a story to narrate and take us on board for a nice journey. Ben Lost performance always attract your attention with its Gothic rock colours and incredibly expressive voice that you don't get on many trance tracks nowadays. On (You Got The) Chemistry Wrong sounds darker and twisted supported with the sharpness of acid layers while on These Six Words (Will Destroy You) he sings in a much more subtle way. On (You Got The) Chemistry Wrong the upcoming talent FreeSoup from York UK delivers his full on driving and super energetic classic psy trance recipe with pulsating basslines and brilliant synthy layers on top. He delivers 3 different versions with full vocal for the sing a long fans, dirty dub and instrumental. The breakdown is long and emotional with great strings and cinematic sounds. His climax is full headbanging and psy trance party rocking guaranteed moment! For the harder trance sounds you should check dirty dub version that is rougher and extremely powerful and roof raising, Essential for any psy trance follower and not only of course.
