REVIEW: Eric Prydz - Liberate incl music video out on Virgin / Universal Music

Few artists have such a career in the electronic music scene as the Swede Eric Prydz. Be it worldwide hits under his own name, his genre-defying House alias Pryda, his multiple Grammy-nominated remixes or dark techno of his other alias Cirez D.

With Call On Me Eric Prydz has certainly landed the biggest coup and topped the 2004 chart positions around the world.

Now Eric Prydz is back with a new track. Liberate the name of this and has already convinced opinion makers in the UK electro scene and was presented among other things as Zane Low's Hottest Record in The World on BBC Radio 1.

Dimitri Kechagias review: When I conduct interviews with many young upcoming producers they answer that one of the main influences in their music production is the pioneer and legend Eric Prydz who is considered to be  role model for many young talents who aspire to produce music that is close to his fantastic productions and high quality arrangement. The "Eric Prydz"  branch of melodic progressive house is futuristic, colourful, enjoyable and perfect to move big crowds. His brand new track is called Liberate and is now released via Virgin Music. Once again the super talented dj & producer deliver hair raising, mouthwatering, inspiring progressive house with the word summer anthem written all over it. It starts with cool chunky techy crunchy introduction and very soon lands on the brilliant breakdown. Emotional melodies, airy pads, synthy plucks and warm sunny atmosphere prevails along with the cool male vocals that stay at the background. The beat kicks back with colourful positive synths upon the great danceable groove plus the cool male vocals really energise the proceedings even more. The second breakdown is equally dreamy, cinematic, blissful and luscious with waves of euphoric uplifting melodies combined with the emotional spiritual vocals. The final climax is perfect to blow the speakers in the summer festivals and drive the crowd totally insane with hands in the air jumping and pumping around vibrating their love to the world! Quality underground progressive house anthem that will be fantastic to reach high placements in the various pop charts worldwide. Looking forward to observe crowd reactions when Eric Prydz will play this Ibiza Anthem at Tomorrowland #PureGold Love iT
