Ducked Ape from the Netherlands are releasing quality tunes on the small experimental label Heroic recordings. Their track Come And Get It appears on M Recordings part of Armada Music and sounds like they strike lucky with it as this can be their first huge international hit with wide support from djs, radio stations, blogs and web sites worldwide. Come And Get it signals the attempt of some deep house producers to take the next step and apply influences from other styles like electro house or big room in order to widen the appeal of the genre to the crowd that wants it deep but more punchy and danceable as well. The retro futuristic sonic journey starts with deep warm haunting basslines, chunky techy beats and cool little synths on top that hook you easily while on top Paolo Ravley performs the fantastic dreamy soulful classy vocals with catchy sing a long lyrics.
