The first official single to come from their sixth studio album (landing this June), ‘Falling Back’ sees Cosmic Gate team-up with one of the voices of the post-millennial electronic music generation.
From his breakout turn on Filo & Peri’s classic ‘Anthem’, the super-expressive tones of Eric Lumiere have most recently been heard unifying floors on Giuseppe Ottaviani’s club-smash ‘Love Will Bring It All Around’. Together, on their first studio collaboration, Nic, Bossi & Eric have collectively delivered one track that’s as touching and meaningful, as it is floor-raising.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved and legendary Cosmic Gate are back on Armada Music with their own record label Wake Your Mind and everything is lined up for the release of their forthcoming album as well. The next single from the album is the magnificent Falling Back featuring the singer and songwriter Eric Lumiere who has one of the most unique and highly emotional voices.Also he writes incredible lyrics that resonate to global audiences and the word hit is written all over them. Eric is one of those artists that deserves personal album and lets hope this to be soon. The track even if you didn't know who is the producer you can easily identified it as a Cosmic Gate track. It is as always on the high quality we expect to get from the fantastic Cosmic Gate. Responsible for keeping the trance scene alive in their country and of course with hit singles all over the world Cosmic Gate are true pioneers and respected members of the trance family. They never feared to go against the grain and most importantly to push the boundaries of the genre and incorporate influences from other styles as well. Falling Back applies chunky groovy bouncy kicks, electrified driving rocking basslines and great percussion that becomes the main foundation that Eric comes in to add his deeply human touch along with some hints of the main synth. In the breakdown the emotional piano melody, the hair raising vocals and the nice atmosphere warm our hearts. The very euphoric electro style synths appear next to build anticipation and nicely to drive us at the massive climax where the track reaches its ecstatic climax that will make us jump up and sing a long with hands in the air.
