Newcomer in the Trance scene in 2013 Cate's voice is already no stranger to the scene and especially the ASOT family where she's been hugely supported through her work with Dart Rayne & Yura Moonlight (Shelter Me), Lange (Fireflies) and Adrian&Raz (Into The Light). Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the best vocal trance tracks of the year so far should be the collaboration between the Irish trance god Sneijder and the beloved singer Cate Kanell that I particularly adore with her eternal track Fireflies with Lange. Now on the already perfect and already trance classic original mix (read review here) the more progressive minded Johann Stone remix is added as well. The well known producer transforms the full on uplifting original into a groovy neo prog trance version perfect for the first hour of your dj set. Superb neo trance composition with chunky groovy beats, electro tech basslines, warm strings, playful application of the emotional vocal in some moments that sounds more like another instrument, understated rolling piano melodies that stay at the background and distorted synth lead that drive the track to its exceptional breakdown that is loaded with sensitivity and calmness. The massive euphoric synthy riff comes next to highlight the emotional turmoil that the character of the lyrics is going through and nicely we move to the final sequence that is the climax that this so intense track needs with energetic and uplifting elements and nice groove underneath. #PureGold Love It
