London based DJ Hectic is no stranger to the bass. In a short period of time he has dropped a wide variety of highly acclaimed tracks ranging from dubstep, to gitch hop to garage and UK bass music. After a couple of remixes and EP’s on Black Hole Recordings and the Rub-A-Duck imprint, he has established his name even further. Whoever says Dubstep is dead clearly haven't heard Hectic. On Drop IT the magician Hectic presents his dubby Drum & Bass sound that is slower than the usual sound. It sounds really dark and moody with many fresh ideas and sounds coming together to create a very tasty underground ride in the wild side of life. The cool urban style vocal sample adds to the track personality and really gives it the identity that needs t stand out. You can easily hear it played in clubs but is even more thunderous when is coming out ghetto blasters and cool cars. Hands OFF is fat dubstep sound that is aggressive and energetic to the maximum. Slamming, pumping and bouncy to the maximum with heavy distorted freaky basslines and cool short moments of relaxation with dub / ragga samples to add some short intervals of sunshine and then the manic drum is back along with the dirty bass to continue its underground adventures.
