REVIEW: EDU - For The Heart out on Monster Pure

What better way to resurrect the pure trance side of Monster Tunes than with a label favourite, EDU. Over the past year and a half EDU has been steadily carving a huge reputation in the scene for unique, progressive style ‘2.0’ trance, which has seen him being supported by the worlds biggest trance / progressive jocks such as Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond et al.

‘For The Heart’ is a serene, melodic, progressive gem and a perfect set opener for any club dance floor, with a chunky kick and stripped back percussion, the melodic elements really shine through on this exceptional production. Faint vocal adlibs add to the array of uplifting melodies, whilst an expertly penned main hook and chord progression turn the emotion to full flavour.

This one is something for the heart, the mind and the soul!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The Pure side of Monster Tunes has now its own label. Monster Pure is back with first release from the brilliant and very talented Russian talent EDU who gets the support and respect from big, medium and bedroom djs all over the world cause he simply knows how to craft a song that has emotion and amazing depth that according to another producer is very difficult to achieve. What the clubbers demand is to get music that has spirituality and can inspire them to find courage to carry on their everyday life that is pretty boring if you think about it. Music can put a serious mark in our life and nice colours on our daily routines and for that reason people consider music as their final refuge away from the harsh reality. We walk around with our mp3 players enjoying good music and feeling the nice vibe that we get from tracks like For The Heart. As the title suggests is a magnificent production that comes straight From The Heart connecting mind, body and soul in the most harmonic way. While you listen to it you can feel its serenity, warmth, tenderness and safety as well. Sunny kissed synthy melodies upon the Deadmau5 style chord progression that seems to return as influence on many tracks because it really makes you feel like being somewhere in Ibiza relaxing and feeling the sun rays in your skin. Its one of those soothing tracks that are very danceable at the same time. #PureGold Love iT
