Chris Voro returns to Discover Dark with 'Anathema'. This cracking follow-up to last year's 'Sentics' is a stomping, stark romp through the darker side of the genre.
In 'Anathema', Voro combines the strong kick with the intensity of acid and even a small section of breaks. On the remix are Discover's Peter Hulsmans, fellow Discover Dark artists Deathmind & Estigma and Komplex Sound's Casey Rasch.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The very talented Greek trance producer Chris Voro with releases on many prolific record labels incl Perfecto records returns on Discover Dark with something really spicy and very exceptional of course. The track is named Anathema follows the gloomy moody dark tech trance sound that is well known for along with his psy trance tracks as well. Tough metallic drum beats, sharp kicks, driving basslines and stunning breakdown with cinematic vocal samples and choir vocal that adds that spiritual edge to it. His climax is totally out of order as he goes for a manic and shocking dirty tech trance bass focused section that will send you to space and beyond. Peter Hulsmans gift mix is a totally different story. He goes for the melodic psy prog trance sound that is quite groovy and very melodic as well. The acid overtones add to the track its hypnotic edge and the cool synthy melody comes and goes to create a very colourful and relaxing version. Deathmind & Estigma are on board and their version continues on the dark tech trance pathway. The first part of the track is very bouncy and euphoric with awesome synths and trancy voices. The breakdown is dominating from the mouthwatering synthy that you wish to last for hours but unfortunately soon ends as the climax follows with dark moody synths, heavy percussion and tough drums. The final section finishes off the track on psy trance mood. Lastly for the pure psy trance followers Casey Rasch lands with his spacey full on acid psy trance makeover. Packed with variation and many sound layers is definitely a complex remix that reaches its goal to make you sweat on the dancefloor! This is What I Call Dark Trance! Love it
