Originally from London producer has claimed the brilliant reactions to his "Fly 4 Life EP" , a new House Firecracker at the start : " My Love" feat. Jess Glynne . This connects the dynamic rhythmic beat of Route 94 with the soulful voice of Jesse Glynne who just stormed the international charts with Clean Bandit and their hit " Rather Be " .
Route 94 named after the route from Chicago to Detroit, while Chicago is not only known for its tourist attractions , but is especially well known as the birthplace of the House. His list of supporters is long, inter alia, he had also done remixes for Storm Queen , MK, Katy B and Skream . BBC Radio 1 have discovered the track for themselves , cult Djane Annie Mac presents the track on her annual 2013 compilation album . The press is enthusiastic : "While there was mystery about his identity, one thing we do know about Route 94 is that he knows how to make a massive dance banger " (The Guardian) .
Dimitri Kechagias review: When I was thinking that everything goes out of control and the house music will disappear in favour of harder sounds the rebirth of the 90's garage house music brings back the lost soul and love for nice warm piano chords and emotional sensational vocals that can touch you deeply and talk straight to your heart and make the hair of your arms stand up. Route 94 present the pure audio sugar sweet anthem My Love featuring the stunning vocals by Jess Glynne. Deep chilled warm dreamy soundscapes that takes u back on those years that everything was nice and maybe a bit idealistic and romantic. The years that working class disadvantaged youth found as main way of expression and attempt to get out of their ghetto by making music with simple and cheap equipment. The years that rave parties were organised in secret locations that everybody was going there for the music and happiness and not for the megastar dj who demands thousands of euros to spin. The track is so good that reached the number 1 position at the prestigious UK Top 40. The remix package has landed and includes excellent versions. Billion remix is a wonderful classy eclectic deep house alternative with deep haunting basslines, techy minimal beats and excellent old school nostalgic elements with UK Garage house atmosphere. Very sweet indeed that is relaxing and very danceable as well. Royal-T remix has a much more upfront touch to it. With speed garage elements and urban flavours when you listen to it you can only imagine an after midnight drive in London. Maison Sky is an underground deep techno with house touches alternative with pitched down vocals and cool cinematic atmosphere.Very minimal and sparkling remix that's for sure. Last but not least the drum n bass lovers will adore the Sigma remix. Fantastic energetic version with intensity, drive and that spacey urban tripping out feeling. Great application of the unforgettable piano chords and that vocal that will remain as classic of course. Quality package for one of the finest records of the year.
