REVIEW: Dankann - And God Said out on IHU Records / Armada Music

1. And God Said (Klub Mix)

After a promising kick-off of IHU Records, it’s time for Antillas’ partner in crime, Italian producer Dankann, to shine.

‘And God Said’ is the long-awaited, rocking follow-up to the hit smashes of ‘When You Love Someone’, 'Synapse' and ‘Evolution’.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Nothing can stop the quality releases and labels coming from Armada Music. The latest addition in the  Armada family is IHU records headed by the Italian superstar Antillas.  Dankann who collaborates with the label owner for years goes solo for And God Said in order to compose and serve the very tasty and absolutely mouthwatering power crashing club burner that is so energetic and completely unstoppable. With influences from hardstyle the track combines electro house with progressive house and some little touches of trance as well. It starts with thunderous hardstyle basslines and builds the anticipation and flow towards the breathtaking mainsection nicely. The breakdown is very dreamy and trancy until the big synths to land along with claps & kicks and big chunk of dubstep sequence as well that works like a treat to raise temperature and burn down the house. The old school very well known And God Said vocal sample is used to introduce the drop that is absolutely maddening, playful ad hands in the air with the very strong trancy synthy theme running throughout and keeping those tired hands in the air waving and clapping. Dankann never fails to impress and here he delivers the goods for massive festival house sounds that actually trance jocks can play easily as well. Love IT
