REVIEW: Anhken - Pean out on Alter Ego Tranquil State

Romanian maestro Anhken needs little introduction, his countless unique sonic masterpieces have been championed on the biggest labels around by the Trance 'Royal Family' for the past six years and beyond!

Despite destroying dance floors the world over and sculpting a string of timeless works over the years Petrisor has been keeping his more reflective soundscapes and chill-out pieces under lock and key!

The man behind the Ahnken mask has decided to let them come out and play for 2014 and so, we are delighted to unveil the 'Pean' LP.

An album that truly reflects and captures true emotion looking through the eye of the producer with stunning soundscapes, dream state mood paintings taking you through journeys beyond with twelve truly unique and emotive sonic works of art!

Dimitri Kechagias review: It's always so challenging to create what we widely term as chill out / lounge music. Despite of being for some the easiest EDM subgenre to produce usually it turns to be the most difficult cause exactly the simple ingredients and less complex structures make it even more harder to convey  the message that the artist intends to send with his great tracks. Anhken is a highly beloved and regarded artist with some of the biggest trance anthems under his belt. Pean reveals his amazing ability to centre his work around very strong original piano melodies and build some very emotional sensitive and highly fragile ambient tracks that will calm your senses, mesmerise and most importantly inspire you. Its the type of tracks that I call food for imagination and self development as they allow you to focus even more on what you wish to achieve. Just close your eyes and let the music create the mental images that will surprise your or even help you to find what is hidden deep inside you. Lets not forget that music is the vehicle for our soul to talk and if you hear carefully Pean you will certainly understand Anhken as fully fledged artist in a deeper level. Emotionally provoking and highly atmospheric cinematic soundscapes not to be missed. Love iT
