REVIEW: Tensnake ft. Nile Rodgers & Fiora - Love Sublime incl remixes & music video out soon on Virgin/EMI

On 10th March, Tensnake – AKA German DJ and producer Marco Niemerski – will be releasing his highly anticipated debut album Glow on Virgin EMI. Featuring an impressive range of collaborations which include three time Grammy-winning Stuart Price (AKA Jacques Lu Cont), MNEK and the almighty Nile Rodgers, Glow is a new milestone in a career which has travelled the world’s greatest dance floors.

After sumptious house cut See Right Through reached Beatport top 5, Love Sublime will be the next single from Glow - a delicious slice of disco pop adorned with the unmistakable guitar groove of Nile Rodgers and the beguiling vocals of Fiora. The single was premiered last night by Annie Mac on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show as Hottest Record In The World. Love Sublime will be accompanied by remixes from Duke Dumont, Ewan Pearson and Le Youth and released on March 2nd.
Tensnake earned his towering reputation as one of house and disco’s leading producers after Coma Cat smashed dancefloors worldwide, and earned him his name as a game changing dance pioneer.

After a summer of Ibiza sell out sets at Pacha alongside deep house master Solomun as well as Defected shows at Booom, plus a US tour, Tensnake is finishing off 2013 with a bang. On Tuesday he headlined the Boiler Room enlisting fellow house and disco enthusiasts Skream, Krystal Klear and Medlar. He will next grace UK shores when he performs two sets on New Year’s Eve, the first at Manchester’s renowned Warehouse Project with the likes of Redlight, Annie Mac, Lil Silva and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, the second at XOYO alongside Jacques Lu Conte. A stellar finale to the year and monumental prelude to the release of Glow early in March.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Tensnake manage with his exceptional tracks to touch wider audiences and his forthcoming album Glow is about to introduce him as a fully fledged artist. His next single is the magnificent track Love Sublime featuring the legend Nile Rodgers and the always stand out singer Fiora. Love Sublime is the result of this unexpected collaboration that merges deep house sounds with soulful funk and disco that Nile brings to every track he takes part with  his guitar and his catchy melodies that instantly make the listener to relax and feel good. Its the positive erotic track that radio audiences will request  and will be played very often. Fiora is super talented and her vocals here leaning to be more playful and sexy rather than moving on the deep side of things. Her performance here is a revelation for me and she proves that we ain't see nothing yet  from her vocal abilities. Superb track and not to be missed. Now the package becomes even more extended with delicious remixes. Duke Dumont is on remix duties and he does his best to inject his deep underground tech house sound that is actually quite dark and sinister remaining on the deep underground rather than going for a fluffy happy version. The top old school rave piano chords and the haunting threatening dark basslines along with the techy bouncy beats work like a treat with Fiora's excellent performance. For non vocal lovers there is instrumental version of this remix as well. Second remix comes from Le Youth who service a lovely melodic summery sunny deep house hooky funky version that will take you back in the early 90's with balearic acid house flavours. Finally Ewan Pearson remix is the more experimental as it swims within the realms of progressive house, acid house and electronica as well. Very danceable and so creative that you feel at the end of it that you can not get enough of it and you want more of course. It adds certain darkness to the track with the sharp basslines and breaks like beats. Without though to loose its pop edge as well with the beautiful vocals and Nile Rodgers guitar riffs. There is dub and instrumental remix available for the non vocal lovers. #PureGold Love iT
