REVIEW: Progresia feat. Linnea Schossow - Fire Fire Fire (The Remixes) out on Anjunabeats

One of the summer's late favourites, "Fire Fire Fire" from sibling duo Linnea and Marcus Schossow, under his Progresia alias, is now granted two contrasting reworks.

One of three brand new Bluestone productions to be debuted by Above & Beyond in their Group Therapy 050 set, ilan's "Fire Fire Fire" remake is a striking conclusion to the year of this young star's career.

Hot on the heels of his remix for Mat Zo's "Lucid Dreams", ilan's trademark rolling bass and changed up chords energise "Fire Fire Fire" into a peak time modern trance anthem, while keeping the original's strong musicality at its heart.

Taking things down a richer progressive route, 19 year old Dutch star Jordin Post, aka. Juventa brings a slice of Ibizan summer to the mix with a smooth groove and sun soaked atmosphere. Inspired by the classic Pryda sound, his playful lead melody, heavy use of the vocal and percussive fills once again demonstrate Jordin's gifted ear for catchy productions.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The most influential EDM record label in the EDM culture from UK should be Anjunabeats. The label headed by Above & Beyond became the ambassador of emotional melodic trance and in these days moves forward to other styles as well representing electronica, progressive house and deep house artists as well. The beloved anthem Fire Fire Fire by Progresia featuring the incredible voice of Linnea Schossow returns with two stunning remixes that will be adored in the coming weeks. First of all is the best remixer of the year according to many fellow artists, Ilan Bluestone is on remix duties and he unleashes his manic banging beats, deep haunting driving basslines and twisted grooves to drive us nicely in his highly atmospheric breakdown. The unforgettable inspiring vocal comes to the very front and his own take in the very strong main melodic theme appears to cause mass destruction. Ilan builds the anticipation to the maximum wih his drum rolls and nicely we land on his euphoric playful hands in the air climax that is an enjoyable and emotionally charged ride. Stunning rework to drive big crowds insane. On the other hand Juventa who never stops to impress us with his compositions brings to the table his new improved sound that moves in the progressive trance territory and less in his heavy influenced progressive house creation of his previous remixes. His version is packed with warmth, emotion, and plenty of moments to dance the night away. Tribal percussion, acid touches and old school balearic house piano is included as well to create a magnificent balearic Ibiza trance style version that will bring sun and love to any dancefloor. Pure bliss not to be missed. Love iT
