REVIEW: EDX - Reckless Ardor incl official music video out on Enormous Tunes / Sirup Music

Enormous Tunes is delighted to present the latest from EDX, Reckless Ardor, an immense and encapsulating deep progressive track.

After huge success with his productions Blessed, Hazed, Hyped, his breathtaking collaboration with Leventina, “The Tempest” and his unmistakeable house remix of Thinking About You by Calvin Harris, EDX continues to incorporate different musical ideas to create unbridled magic. His unique productions and killer remixes in the likes of Kaskade, Sebastian Ingrosso, Dubfire, Funkagenda and Avicii, set EDX apart in the world of house music, establishing him as one of the hottest names on the scene and nothing short of spectacular.

“Reckless Ardor” reflects EDX’s mastery of chord progression. The chords filter down to blend with a pumping groove while haunting vocals and breathy Ah’s float on top, exemplifying pure emotion.

Stir your senses with another stellar release, injecting warmth into the winter season. Let yourself go with Reckless Ardor into a deep house escapade, a deep hypnotic mood.

EDX - Reckless Ardor had is first spin at Pete - Tong - Essential - Selection - 11 - 2013 on Radio 1 BBC UK

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most creative and highly inspirational artist and influential figure in the development of EDM in global scale is of course the lovable EDX. His releases on top labels like Pinkstar, Ultra, Spinnin, Toolroom and others are played on repeat mode every weekend on the finest venues of this world and supported by the biggest DJ's. His latest  release perfectly in tune with the current trend of deep tech house music is coming on Chris Reece's highly successful leading  record label in deep house Enormous Tunes and you guessed it right that is an instant classic. It stays on the well known EDX summery feel good sound we already know by now but on slower bpm. Groovy tech house beats, deep and funky edged basslines, sunkissed melodies, warm cinematic strings and the typical for that style distorted vocal samples. It manage straight away to put a wide smile on your face, relax and slow you down and let your mind escape to his own always On The Edge direction. Its very stereotypical to write it but actually is very true on that record that can make you feel for 6 minutes free, a little bit happier and satisfied as well. EDX is not only an awesome artist but most importantly a good trustworthy friend and that is something that the whole industry recognise and keep him right at the top of his game. Love iT
