A producer at ease crafting both melodic masterpieces and festival bangers, with ‘Dare You’ Hardwell's penchant for uplifting chords and rising intensity is on full show. An upward assent from the first beat, climbing high throughout, Hardwell combines Koma’s rousing tones with infectious guitars, twinkling key, rushing synth work and his trademark drops. Ever the embracer of digital technology Hardwell launched ‘Dare You’ to his fans via Shazam, the first time the mobile music application has premiered new music. A 20 second clip put on his YouTube channel gave fans who Shazamed the opportunity stream the track in full before anyone else. Within 24 hours the clip had reaches over 100,000 plays and set the blogosphere alight.
An anthem in the making ‘Dare You’ has already been given the official stamp of approval from Pete Tong who gave the track its official radio premier on the Essential Selection.
At the top of his game but harbouring ambitions to raise the bar even higher, Hardwell starts 2014 like he means to go on. ‘Dare You’ is set for UK release on 5th January 2014 through Revealed / Relentless.
